Department of Environmental Quality Response to HVSSD Concerns

You will find a letter from John K. Mackey, diretor of the Division of Water Quality in the section for forms and reports that responds to concerns raised to them about HVSSD.  To address these concerns, DWQ interviewed operations personnel, inspected the facility, reviewed operating conditions, background, engineering, and performance records in order to determine if the facility had deficiencies or limitations that may be causing pollution or contributing to related water quality problems.  The findings from this investigation are summarized in the letter.
