HVSSD completed the installation of a system in Cell1 to inject hydrogen peroxide and calcium nitrate. We were very concerned about the odors at the plant in 2023 during the spring turnover and spent time and great expense to come up with a program that would alleviate the odors in the lagoons. We started the injection process in March and are pleased announce that in 2024 we have not had any odors at the plant or surrounding area during the spring turnover. We feel that this is a move in the right direction for HVSSD.
